1. Ancient Harvest Quinoa Pasta Noodles

If you're still using plain ol' flour pasta noodles, stop right now. Let your pasta work harder for you, nutritionally. Switch to quinoa pasta. Quinoa is a super nutritious grain with nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. It's also high in fiber. I use this brand. It's delicious. Their motto is "You'll never go back to plain noodles again." Truth.

 

2. Aerosoles

A few weeks ago I tweeted: In my next life I'm going to come back as a vegan boot designer. 100 years from now I'll make a killing. 

I was on a mission to find a needle in a haystack: a pair of cute vegan boots. Aerosoles saved the day. Yep, Aerosoles. Comfort and Style. One of the managers of an Aerosoles store told me that their new fall/winter boot line was entirely man made. (Double-check the material.)

3. Vegan Cooking for Carnivores by Roberto Martin.

Roberto is Ellen DeGeneres' personal chef. Lucky. This has become my, and my fiancé's, favorite plant-based cookbook. Mac'N Cheese, Black Bean Soup with Pico De Gallo, Tofu Egg Salad, and Creamy Almond Pesto are now a weekly staple in our house. Delicious.
